Well, I look to Joe.

Joe Blanton didn't even make it through four innings. He gave up four runs across nine hits before being pulled. In other words, he gave the Twins their only runs. After him, a combination of relievers only allowed a total of three hits. So it seems Joe has reverted back to his old ways...

Tonight's hit-men were Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo who led the way with two hits. Trout, Howie Kendrick, and Colin Cowgill supplied the Angels runs. In the bottom of the ninth, Mike Trout earned a single through a tough popup behind first base. Then Albert Pujols came to the mound and went down looking with a man on first and second. Finally, Howie Kendrick came to the plate and... went down swinging.

That's really all there is to say about tonight's game. Also, Tim Salmon just said on FOX Sports West that Joe Blanton needed to "give a better effort." Right on Tim, right on.

Quote(s) of the Night from Joe Blanton: "I felt like threw the ball fine today." And here's another one he supplied, "There were a lot of borderline pitches that you want the calls on that I didn't get."
