Ladies and gentlemen, "sources" have spoken to MLB insiders and let them know that the Angels are listening on a number of players. Accoring to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports, the Halos are now "willing to listen on Erick Aybar, Howie Kendrick and plenty more." This news comes just after the Angels lost to the Oakland Athletics 10-6 after leading 6-0.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal went on to confirm Passan's news with his sources. Rosenthal explains that the Halos want to receive a "starter under multi-year control" for Kendrick or Aybar.

Couldn't these guys have held off until after the Angels next series that starts tomorrow with the Texas Rangers? Sound off down below who you think or want the Angels to get.

Howie Kendrick is under contract for 2014 and '15. He is owed $9.5 Million in each of those seasons. He just turned thirty on July 12.

Erick Aybar is under contract for 2014 - '16. He is owed $8.5 Million in each of those seasons. He will turn 30 on January 14.

UPDATE: The Angels have traded LHP Scott Downs to the Atlanta Braves for RHP Cory Rasmus, who is the brother of Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Colby Rasmus.
