Thursday, September 19 is the final off-day of the season for the Angels but that does not mean that pitcher C.J. Wilson will be resting or just hanging out thinking of himself - nope, he and some of his teammates will be getting together for a great charitable cause and having a blast while they do it. It's C.J.'s Fifth Annual "Throw Strikes" Bowling Tournament. For a small donation to a great cause you will be mingling with C.J., some of his teammates and other special guests at BOWLMOR (formerly "300-Anaheim") located at 321 West Katella in Anaheim (92801).

I think you can line up early, and you should, as there will be some Angels fans ready to get in when the doors open at 6:00 PM that evening. For a $50 donation to the C.J. Wilson Children's Charities you get entry to the event, one game of bowling and shoe rental. But that is just where the fun begins...

• Food and Non-Alcoholic beverages will be present.
• Dining, Raffle and Prizes will be doled out for the top bowling scores of the evening.
• All of this happens while you are hanging out with C.J. and his teammates!

That good cause is the C.J. Wilson Children's Charities ongoing support of the Hematology and Oncology Clinic of Children's Hospital of Orange County, the Hemotosis and Thrombosis Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the San Diego Hemophilia Camp.
