The greatest shortstop in the history of the Angels, Jim Fregosi, has died. He was taken off of life support yesterday by his family when i became apparent that the multiple strokes he had suffered were beyond the reach of medical science.
Fregosi also managed the Angels from mid-1978 thru mid-1981, winning the American League Western Division in 1979.
