Angels Take Freeway Series, Beat Dodgers 6-2

Two Games to One the ORIGINAL Los Angeles Team Owns It Yet Again.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Spor

Tyler Skaggs pitched well despite a 40+ pitch third inning. Other than a Chone Figgins single being the sum total of the Dodgers offense the Angels' pitching looks pretty darn good for being such a concern.

Kole Calhoun hit a three-run bomb and Mike Trout followed that with a solo homer of his own off of former teammate Dan Haren. The Angels cruised to a 6-2 win over the Dodgers to take the Freeway Series two games to one and to break in Angel Stadium ahead of the Monday start to the 2014 baseball season.

The good news is that Opening Day is less than 48 hours away. The bad news is there is no baseball tomorrow. The good news is we took it to the Dodgers and their fanbase that cannot even watch their own games. The Trout-Fest Saturday came to a pleasant conclusion and now we can let the real fun begin!
