Final Score: Angels 6 Rays 0

For the troops watching on the Armed Forces Network, C.J. Wilson did his best to show his appreciation by pitching his best game of the season. The dandruff-free hurler went all 9 innings, shutting out Tampa Bay behind great location, fearlessness and some help from a handful of double play balls. The only time Wilson was in trouble was in the seventh, when he got back to his apprehensive, nibbling ways. But he was locked in so well tonight that in that side, he was able to pitch out of a bases loaded jam and make Scioscia call off the bullpen dogs.

Also of note tonight was the Angels offense, getting timely hits from Erick Aybar, Howie Kendrick and a great leadoff start from Collin Cowgill. And the icing on the cake came from Grant Green's bomb to center, which I'm not sure anybody had seen coming this evening(well, besides a commenter or two here).

The Angels continue to play well, and keep winning. Now: let the Saturday night GIF party commence!
