Final Score in Anaheim: Astros 5 Angels 2

A day after handily beating David Price in support of their #5 starter, the Halo offense was stymied by a 26-year-old with a 4.81 ERA in his 56th career game. Dallas Keuchel pitched one batter shy of a complete game shutout in Anaheim against the Angels, allowing five hits and it was hardly even that close.

Starter Garrett Richards was ranked one of the better pitchers in all of the American League coming into the game but he sure had butterflies in his stomach at the beginning, allowing a leadoff double, a walk, a wild pitch, committed an error and allowed two singles before recording the first out of the game.

That was all Houston would need but they tacked on two more for good measure and then Keuchel was in cruise control, striking out eight Angels - every member of the starting lineup except Chris Iannetta, who was the only Angel who walked in the game.

The mini-rally in the ninth inning was all too little, too late. By the time the Angels scored two runs the sands of time had left the beach.
