Final Score in Anaheim: Rangers 5, Angels 2

The Angels were ahead 2-0 over the Rangers and then Hector Santiago allowed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning. He wasn't done there. He allowed a two-run home run later that inning. He wasn't done there. Mike Scioscia let back out in the seventh. Of course the Angels bullpen allowed the two baserunners he let on to score. They do that better than anyone in the American League.

The team is back to .500 and the sense that they could beat easy teams like the has-been Dallas Rangers is slightly tarnished. The Rangers got some lucky hits while the Halos, featuring J.B. Shuck in their lineup were actually okay. They did make washed-up Colby Lewis look intelligent (despite the word "TEXAS" on his jersey) by giving the lumbering bubba the exact same AT-BATS in PA after PA.

Anyway, not the end of the world. David Freese bone bruise on the finger, ehhh...
