Welp, time flies when you're having fun blogging. Here we are, the end of 2015 drawing closer and closer, and like most years passed, it seems to have gone by WAY too fast for my taste. I think it's safe to say It's been a crazy year...in the world at large, and here in our own little online community. There was a time when Josh Hamilton got signed to the Halos and I thought "Really? They're signing him for that much? I don't like it." I never in my wildest LOLBAHs thought that the signing, in an extremely roundabout way, would lead to me replacing Rev Halofan as site manager.
It was a job that I was scared as hell to take; Rev was Mr. Halos Heaven, and he was the reason that I stopped lurking in 2008 and took the plunge and signed up for an account. I wanted to be part of this crazy party, and I never looked back. So with that in mind, it seemed far too daunting to try and pick up where he left off, but luckily I had guys like Stirrups, Turk's Teeth and Suboptimal telling me that I COULD do it. Those dudes are all highly intelligent, and if i've learned one thing in the past few years, when getting my life in order, it's that there are many times where I should just shut up and listen to advice given from highly intelligent dudes. And you know what? It's been amazing. YOU GUYS have been amazing. And the best part? There is still a lot more to do, and a lot more I want to add to the community.
That's sort of the point of this post: to hear from you guys about what I can do to make this site THE most kickass Angels site on the interwebz. I want to know what you've liked(don't say Track Hottie), what you haven't liked, what you'd like to see more of(don't say Track Hottie), what you'd like to see less of, and so on. Trust me, I will listen to you guys. I obviously can't attend to all of your suggestions, comments or criticisms, but I'll give it my absolute best shot.
So let's hear it...this is our official Festivus Airing of Grievances, but they don't HAVE to be grievances. Suggestions, ideas, constructive criticisms are welcomed too. Just be civil, especially if you'd like me to take you seriously. And also, if you see a comment that you agree with, make sure to Rec it so it stands out from the pack.
Some things to think about when responding: what is your favorite current feature? Least favorite current feature? What do you want to see more/less of?
Oh, and before I forget, let me just go ahead and thank each and every one of you...readers, lurkers, staff writers, the whole bunch of ya! You guys are awesome, and I am stoked to be heading into the unknown of 2016 with you all by my side. Go Halos!
