Sean Newcomb faced the Travelers' old foes and he fell victim like the rest of the team has all year long.

Triple-A: Salt Lake Bees

Standout Stats

Matt Joyce had a better night, but I love me some Jett Bandy. Can't wait to see him make his major-league debut.

Great outing from Wilk. And boy, did he need it. He's had a rough stretch of games for a while now.

Double-A: Arkansas Travelers

Standout Stats

It was bound to happen. Duke fell back to his walk-y ways and it bit him in the buns. The wheels really fell off in the bottom of the first when Newcomb walked three, threw a wild pitch, gave up a single and a dinger, and his defense let him down. He gave up another run in the second and was ultimately pulled after three innings and 75 pitches. He'll get one more start this season, so it will be very interesting to see how he rebounds.

Class A Advanced: Inland Empire 66ers

Standout Stats

Yup, that's the standout stat. Ugh. Oh, the run that Palmer batted in? Our boy Baldoquin. So...yay?

Rookie: Orem Owlz

Standout Stats

This guy is 21 and he's OPSing .846. Do we have something here? Or is he just goin' full Orem right now? Oh, and he used to be named Ranyelmy Mendoza. Sooo, a lot of mystery here.

Nope. Not one pitcher went more than four innings, and each one gave up at least three runs.

Rookie: AZL Angels

Good season, guys. The Arizona League Playoffs are one-and-done, so see you all next year!

Standout Stats

The fact that this is the standout stat line of the night is a big reason why the AZL Angels were embarrassed in the first game of the Arizona League Playoffs. Note: Our guy Jahmai Jones went 1-for-4 with a run scored. Can't wait to see what Jahmai does next year.

Glazer had to come in after starter Samuel Pastrone gave up five earned runs without recording an out.
