Mike Trout never ceases to amaze me. The guy does crazy things with his glove, his arm, his legs and his bat. Especially his bat, as of late, where Trout is on a crazy tear of three consecutive 3-hit games that include a homer in each outing. Insane. Only 14 guys have done that feat since 2000, and now one of them is our own baseball God himself.
But THIS homer he hit last night...it’s just ridiculous. Most Angels fans that saw it probably immediately thought of Vlady Guerrero, on one of the many occasions he would golf swing a way-out-of-the-strike-zone pitch into the outfield bleachers. Last night, we got our first taste of that sort of swinging insanity in years, and it was so delicious that I want to savor it for as long as possible.
Luckily, gifs were invented and we can now just sit here and watch this unlikely and insane home run swing on infinite loop. I’m going to watch it for 10 minutes, hold on, I’ll be right back.
Okay, I’m done for now. I’ll probably go back and watch it for another 10 minute chunk later in the day. It’s like a drug, don’t want to get to wrapped up in watching this gif, to the point where I lose my job or anything. Hey, it could happen; this bomb was just that amazing.
Just how amazing?
Mike Trout's HR was the lowest pitch hit for a home run since Freddy Galvis on 4/28/2013. It was less than a foot off the ground.

It was that amazing.
Now, let us go back to watching this thing on repeat while thanking all that is good and holy in the world that the Angels have Mike Trout on their team. I’m not sure I could survive this fandom without him right now.
