The Angels continued their streak of not being able to win games against their division rival Astros, as the lost yet another one tonight at Minute Maid. Not even a streaking, red hot Angels team could turn the tide, as it seems that this team is Angels Kryptonite.
Jered Weaver was on the mound, and while he's had some decent starts lately, tonight was not one of them. He pitched four Innings but gave up plenty runs in those, and was taken out for Jhoulys Chacin. If there's any bright spot to this, it's that Chacin's appearance means that we'll most likely need to see some Tyler Skaggs coming up in the near future. So that's something.
All in all, not really an interesting game whatsoever. The only interesting thing is that this is now the 10th consecutive loss the angels have had to the Astros, and you have to go back to 1980 to find a worse streak against another club for these guys.
Wow.
