Good news indeed. This covers the three years of arbitration remaining along with an option for his first year of free agency.
Angels sign Kole Calhoun to a 3-year $26M extension, with a $14M option for 2020, which would be his first FA year.

This is a win-win for both Calhoun, who gets some nice guaranteed money, and the Angels, who get an extra year of control.
So today, the red baron stays red, and a good deal is struck for both sides.
