How fresh. Kole Calhoun, Mike Trout and Albert Pujols were all still in the lineup for at-bats in the 7th inning. So they are starting to get stretched out, too. And they combined for 3 consecutive hits and 2 runs scored before taking the rest of the day off. And Spring Training fans got themselves a real taste of the promise of what is to come in the regular season. Meanwhile, Justin Miller and JC Ramirez teamed up to show how eager they must be to take a flight to Salt Lake City. Soon.

As guys get moved around and you are looking at who is left, wondering if they are going down last or blocking somebody, you would do well to remember that some of our guys are out of options.............

All the latest WBC Stuff here, but a couple of things to note. Team Israel ran into their wall, and is bounced......Team USA pulled out a late come-from-behind win over Team Venezuela, which can be good for ratings.....Adrian Gonzalez is complaining loudly about the piss-poor organization of the WBC, and vowing to not play in it again. Which would be bad for trying to encourage a Mike Trout to get involved, and bad for ratings. Of course, Adrian Gonzalez complains about a lot of things. A jury has convicted a baseball agent on all (remaining) counts in the Cuban player smuggling case............
