I’ll cover the entire 40 man roster and will split it between position players and pitchers (generally 20 or so guys on each list). Each week the list will change based on the past week’s performance - but also taking into account their performance year to date.
Summary
Angels pitchers had a 5.49 ERA over the past week and gave up 10 more homeruns. While there were certainly some good performances, it wasn’t the best week for the halos on the mound. Starters logged a 6.12 ERA and the normally pretty solid pen logged a 4.54 ERA. Despite that, the Angels managed to win 4 of 6 games from tough East Coast teams on their own turf.
Parkers do well on this team. Blake Parker. Parker Bridwell. Perhaps Eppler is combing the waiver wire looking for variations on the name Parker. Parker Bridwell came to the team after the Orioles DFA’s him in April and he landed at the #10 spot in the MLB ranking for top Angels prospects. Not bad huh?
