I’ll cover the entire 40 man roster and will split it between position players and pitchers (generally 20 or so guys on each list). Each week the list will change based on the past week’s performance - but also taking into account their performance year to date.
Summary
The good news is that the Angels bullpen only gave up 1 home run last week. The bad news? Starters gave up 9 long balls in just 37.3 innings. The starting staff had a 5.30 ERA and that is WITH both of Bridwell’s solid starts. You take Bridwell out at the remaining starters put up a 5.94 ERA. It’s no wonder the Angels are good at come from behind victories this year since they have a lot of chances when you get behind like that early in the game.
Outside of Paredes and Bedrosian, the bullpen was solid. Without those two guys, relievers had a 0.43 ERA in 21.1 innings last week. Including Bedrosian and Paredes bumped that up to 2.49.
