Angels lose another to the Astros, lose ground in Wild Card, now I’m staring into the abyss again

Angels 2 Astros 5

The Angels lost another game against Houston tonight, one where they really just had no ability to score or threaten to score, outside of a little threatening action early on, a Luis Valbuena homer and a too-little-too-late dinger from Albert Pujols in the ninth.

There are only so many games left, and the Twins won tonight, thanks to some heroics, so here I am, devoid of any thought coherent enough to type into this space. I’m Dirk Diggler, staring into the abyss as he’s about to have the worst night of his life, coming to a realization about what this all means...or coming to the realization that we’re screwed.
