What will we do without the Blash Smash? (or, the story of how our best player was released for Tommy La Stella)

The move looks to be promising for Angel depth next year.

Earlier today, the Angels acquired Tommy La Stella from the Chicago Cubs:

La Stella plays all over the infield, from second to third to first, and he boasts a career slash line of .264/.345/.366/.711. He is probably most famous for complaining about his demotion to AAA from the Cubs major league team in 2016.

The real story here is Jabari Blash. What will we do without his enormous foul ball power? Or without watching BBRef on the #racetonegativeOPS+? Or without him misplaying flyballs into triples in Coors field? This is a sad day for Angels fans.
