The Angels are 6-0 this year against a pretty terrible KC team. This game is a makeup from April 15th when Shohei Ohtani was supposed to pitch until the game was cancelled due to “weather”. A victory here would complete the sweep of that series and of the season against the Royals.

Summary:
Skaggs skipped his start on Thursday against the Roayals due to Hamstring tightness. He’s back on the mound pretty quick so it must have been a pretty minor problem. He has been very solid for the Angels, including allowing only 1 run over his last 3 starts while striking out 22 in 20 innings.

Brad Keller started the year as a reliever but will be making his 5th start on Monday. Over his 4 starts so far, he has a 3.46 ERA. In 41 total innings this year, Keller has allow just 1 home run.

Verdict: The Angels should take this game and it would be great if they did to get some momentum going into the Boston series that starts Tuesday night.
