The Angels still can't figure out how to beat Boston, lose 4-2 and get swept in Fenway

MLB: Los Angeles Angels at Boston Red Sox Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Angels 2 Red Sox 4

The Angels lost tonight, which means they got swept in Boston and it also means they still haven't won any of the six games they've played against the Red Sox this season. Saying that this series was a baseball atrocity may be an understatement...at least from a Halos fans' POV. This is the Sux we're talking about, you know?

Jaime Barria threw 5.1 good innings of one-run ball, but wouldn't you know it? Ol Jose Alvarez comes in and let's some of Barria's runners advance or score, and the game that had been 1-1 was now 2-1.

That was the beginning of the end, because the seventh had Noe Ramirez serving up a two-run big fly and the Red Sox had the four runs they would eventually ride through to the end of the game. The Angels got two runs...a homer from Andrelton Simmons early on and then an RBI single from Albert Pujols in the ninth.

There's not much else to say, folks. The Halos lost the game and got swept in Fenway. Who cares, I don't even care!!!!!! /Sad face
