Angels made some highlight reels last week

Trout’s power, Maldy’s arm, Ohtani’s fastball, Simmons’ range, Trout’s range. Let’s bask in the glory of all things Angels Statcast from the past week.

No doubt about this one. Among the top home runs in terms of exit velocity and distance this year - and it wasn’t even Trout’s hardest or furthest hit ball of the season.

Run on for a long time, but sooner or later Madly’s gonna cut you down.

Who need a left fielder when you have Simmons?? That sprint speed to catch this ball was ridiculous. Pretty sure Upton was closer when the ball was hit but he’s not match for Simmons’ fielding skills or speed.

The top five fastest pitches by a starting pitcher this year? All Ohtani.

Kiiiiid! Trout is definitely working on that gold glove season. 29 ft/second and 19% catch probability. That’s some serious speed and A LOT of ground covered.
