MLB released the 2019 Angels schedule!

The Angels open at Oakland. Again.

The Angels open in Oakland for the 3rd straight year.

Opening Day: March 28 vs. Athletics

Home opener: April 4 vs. Rangers

Final series: September 26-29 vs. Astros

Longest home stretch: 10 days (9 games), May 17-26

Longest road stretch: 11 games, June 13-23

Longest no break stretch: 11 games, June 13-23 & Aug 8-18

Mexico Series: May 4-5 vs. Astros but no more details yet

All Star Break: July 8-11

Other notable schedule details:

The Angels will head to Wrigley field for a (likely) cold series April 12-15 They haven’t played the Cubs since 2016 and were in Wrigley for 2 games that year.

Games will be played in St. Louis for the first time since 2010 on June 21-23. Busch Stadium is the only park in which Mike Trout has never played (aside from the new Suntrust Park). The Angels last played the Cardinals in 2016 and were swept in 3 games.

Also of significance is that Albert Pujols will be back in St. Louis for the first time since signing with the Angels after the 2011 season.

The Reds will be back in Anaheim for the first time since 2016 and the Angels will be going to Cincinnati for the first time since 2013.

The Pirates will be in Anaheim Aug 12-14 for the first time since 2013.

Say goodbye to Globe Life Park. The Angels will play there for the last time August 19-21.
