Angels salvage game 4 with a 1 run victory over the Mariners

No sweep this time Seattle!

Angels 4 Mariners 3

Mike Trout sat out today, probably to watch the Eagles. Ok, not really. Trout was present at the game but apparently not needed.

Justin Upton got things going with a 3 run bomb and Kole Calhoun picked a great time to bust out of his slump with a go ahead blast in the 7th.

Jaime Barria threw his semi usual 5 innings, allowing 3 runs and the bullpen shut things down from there with only 1 hit and 6 Ks over 4 innings.

Sadly, David Fletcher was lost to this game (and maybe season) after he strained his hamstring on his 18th double of the year.

All's well that (sorta) ends well I suppose.
