Angels avoid arbitration with all 9 eligible players

MLB: Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Today was the official deadline for teams and players to either settle on terms for the 2019 season or exchange figures for a future arbitration date. With eight arbitration eligible players, the Angels figured to be busy today and they definitely were.

According to MLBTR and Jeff Fletcher, the following agreements have been made with projected salaries in parenthesis:

Tyler Skaggs: $3.7 million ($3.6m)

Andrew Heaney: $3.4 million ($2.8m)

Nick Tropeano: $1.075 million ($1.6m)

JC Ramirez: $1.901 million ($1.9m)

Tommy La Stella: $1.35 million ($1.2m)

Cam Bedrosian: $1.75 million ($1.7m)

Hansel Robles: $1.4 million ($1.4m)

Luis Garcia: $1.675 million ($1.7m)

That locks up a decent chunk of the rotation and depth, the Angels primary bench piece, and helps form the support of a cost controlled bullpen.
