OC Youth Sports Foundation Banquet with Angels Legends Nov. 13

Longtime Angels executive Tim Mead will be the guest of honor at this year’s Orange County Youth Sports Foundation’s annual banquet on November 13th at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. And Angels legends from past to present will be on hand to celebrate and roast Tim in the name of charity.

Expected to attend are Jim Abbott, Wally Joyner, Garrett Anderson, Chuck Finley, Adam Kennedy, Mickey Hatcher, Clyde Wright, Mike Witt, Donnie Hill, and Bobby Grich. Other names are being floated out there as well, but have yet to confirm their appearance.

The OC Youth Sports Foundation provides college scholarships to graduating OC high school scholar athletes and opportunities for underprivileged and disabled OC students to attend major sporting events.

So, if you’d like to grab dinner with a great cast of Angels greats, bid on auction items, and help further the OCYSF cause email andreamanes@ocysf.org and look into buying a ticket ($275) or table ($2500 and up).

This is not a Halos Heaven sponsored event but I will attend and thought with the number of Angels players and ties the banquet has this year some of you might be interested as well.
