Tyler Skaggs, erstwhile Angel starting pitcher, has demonstrated that he is an Angel starting pitching.
Namely, he’s injured.
The #Angels also placed Tyler Skaggs on the IL with an ankle sprain and recalled Jaime Barría.

In Skaggs’ last start, he pitched 4 innings against the Cubs, with nothing at all suggesting that he had an ankle sprain.
Edit: Apparently he was hurt fielding a bunt.
Skaggs said he was hurt trying to field a bunt when he pitched Friday. He had an MRI that showed nothing serious. He is throwing today and hopes to miss the minimum 10 days. #Angels

Jaime Barria is back. He’s allowed to return before the requisite 10 days because this is a injury-related re-callup.
In further news, RHP John Curtiss is up for Taylor Ward.
RHP John Curtiss is here and 3B Taylor Ward is not. #Angels

They will be in Seattle the day before and Anaheim the day after. Not ideal.
To end on a happier note, Trout is back in the lineup!
