Luis Rengifo will be coming back to the Big A and the good news is that Shohei Ohtani is apparently okay. In fact, he’s so okay that he is starting tonight!

Luis Rengifo will also get to start after hopping on a flight from Salt Lake City earlier today.
Regarding Simmons, grade 3 strains typically take several months to heal but per the PR report we may know more tomorrow. Simmons also has a history of bouncing back fast and returning quicker than usual. But don’t expect to see him before the All Star Break at the very least. Simba was slashing .298/.323/.415 before the injury.
Luis Rengifo will get another chance to prove himself after hitting .147 across 39 plate appearances earlier this year.
