Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Angels fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

With the MLB draft coming up really soon (starting on June 3, 2019), SBNation FanPulse was interested in whether Angels fans are confident in the front office to make a good draft selection or not.

90% say they are confident that Billy Eppler and company will make a good draft selection. Although Eppler’s track with free agents is decidedly mixed, he has rebuilt the Angels farm through draft selections. This 90% mark trails only the confidence levels posted by the fans of the Astros (100%), Twins (98%), Brewers (97%), Padres (95%), Rays (94%), Dodgers (92%), and Cubs (91%).

This week’s general question was very broad and open to interpretation. It did not account for round, or the number of draft selection, or whether or not the team’s farm system was good, etc. Nevertheless, under the very general restraints, 60% of respondents stated they would prefer their team to draft a college kid with a quicker path to the majors, while 40% preferred the riskier option with a high ceiling player.
