Cody Allen, the piece Billy Eppler thought would help, has not been a success. To say he has disappointed would be a massive understatement. And now he’s gone.

Although Allen is making $8.5 million this year, he allowed a 6.26 ERA and a 1.91 WHIP in just 23 innings pitched.
Friday night, he took a bit of a fatalistic attitude towards this decision:
