With the 15th overall selection in the 2019 MLB draft, the Angels picked Will Wilson, a shortstop from North Carolina State.

Over two-thirds of fans approved of this pick. It may have been a safer pick to save slot money, but Wilson is a talented player in his own right. Already, the Angels have signed third-round selection Jack Kochanowicz for above-slot money.

In the week’s main question, 60% of fans think that netting should be extended all the way to the foul pole.

I probably fall somewhere in the middle. The netting needs to be extended considerably, but I am not yet sure if it should go all the way to the foul poles. The MLB should conduct a study on the matter.

Are you confident in the direction of the Angels?

79% Yes (up from 62% last week)

21% No

Do you approve of the job manager Brad Ausmus has done?

66% Yes (up from 54% last week)

34% No

The Angels once again had a good week (5-2), contributing to the higher numbers for the poll.
