Angels put cash to good use, acquire actual baseball players Josh Thole and Adam McCreery

No sense in burying the lede...the Los Angeles Angels made a trade:

Josh Thole figures to be added to the roster immediately, slotting behind Dustin Garneau, as the Angels are short Kevan Smith and Jonathan Lucroy. Zack Cozart was moved to the 60-day IL.

The Angels traded away Oakland A’s star player Cash Considerations.

Thole, 32, hasn’t played in the majors since 2016 and spent eight seasons with the Mets and Blue Jays serving mainly as R.A. Dickey’s primary catcher. He has a career slash of .242/.313/.306 with a OPS+ of 73.

Adam McCreery, 26, is a left-handed relief pitcher. What are those?
