According to Angels Pipeline who has broke news like this before, it’s time for Matt Thaiss to make his debut.

Thaiss had an incredible June with a 150 wRC+ and 8 home runs for the Salt Lake bees. Thaiss is not on the 40 man roster, so some corresponding move(s) will need to be made. Tommy La Stella is possibly heading for the IL:
Oh, Tommy La Stella has been removed from the active All-Star roster. He suffered a shin contusion last night. Still no word from the Angels on whether he’s going on the IL, but this isn’t a good sign. La Stella is still an All-Star and could attend if he chooses. https://t.co/xOTEX7VQka

Matt Thais has been playing a lot of 3rd base for the Bees (he was drafted as a catcher but immediately moved to 1st base). It’s possible he will fill in there and Fletcher will shift back over to second to cover for the potential loss of Tommy La Stella.
Of course that is speculation. Stay tuned for more details.
Update, 2:42 pm:
There has been a flurry of moves.
Bad news on Tommy La Stella. Brian Goodwin also placed IL with a right wrist contusion. Matt Thaiss and Jarrett Parker recalled. #Angels https://t.co/LjDHAee3T8

And Jaime Barría is pitching today instead of Griffin Canning. https://t.co/n7AhocntXN
