SBNation FanPulse: Angels team confidence hits season low

For the first time, more people disapprove than approve.

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Angels fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Angels fans were asked whether or not they approved of the team’s decisions at the trade deadline.

Just about three-in-four voters felt that the team did not do a good job at the deadline. General manager Billy Eppler did not acquire big league pitching, instead choosing to focus on catcher Max Stassi, who has struggled at the plate in his short stint as an Angel.

76% Yes (down from 86% last week)

24% No

Are you confident in the direction of the Angels?

49% Yes (down from 82% last week)

51% No

The Angels, in the midst of a big losing streak, see the first time that the confidence in the direction of the Angels has been more disapproval than approval.

Meanwhile, the rest of baseball feels that the Astros are by far the strongest team in baseball.
