Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Angels fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

With the trade deadline this week, fans were asked if they wanted their teams to trade for the best available pitcher or the best available hitter. Perhaps because of the juiced ball, the results were heavily skewed towards one side.

77% of baseball fans wanted their team to trade for the best available pitcher as opposed to the best available hitter. The Astros did just that, trading for Zack Greinke to augment an already amazing starting rotation.

Do you approve of the job manager Brad Ausmus has done?

86% Yes (down from 88% last week)

14% No

Are you confident in the direction of the Angels?

82% Yes (up from 77% last week)

18% No

The Angels were coming off a season sweep of the Dodgers and a series loss to the Orioles at the time this poll was taken. However, since then, the Angels have suffered many more defeats.
