After making 12 starts for the Angels in 2019, Dillon Peters made only one start for the club in 2020.... and it was a brief one.
He was recalled from the alternate site, needed to start a game for the Angels for game two of a double-header against the Astros on September 5. As I mentioned earlier, it was brief, as he lasted only 1 2⁄3 innings. It was a rough outing for him, as he allowed four runs to score on three hits.
Peters was yanked in the second inning, and that was all we saw from him in 2020. He was optioned back to the alternate site the following day.
He’s still on the 40-man roster.
