2020 Angels in review: Jahmai Jones

He’s rated as LAA’s No. 7 overall prospect

Entering 2020, Jahmai Jones is the No. 7 prospect in the Angels system, per MLB.com. He saw some brief action in 2020 with the Angels, as he appeared in a total of three games.

Jones was drafted by the Angels in the second round of 2015 MLB Draft. He made his major-league debut on August 31, when he was brought in the ninth inning as a pinch-runner. It wouldn’t be for another four weeks until he finally had his first major-league at bat. On September 26, he was placed in the starting lineup and played second base for nine innings. He collected a hit and scored a run.

Jones was in the lineup the following day and collected two hits.
