Mike Trout home run daily: Red hot against the Rangers

Our random number generator brought us today to a Mike Trout home run from five years ago, against a familiar divisional foe. On July 24, 2015, the Angels opened a weekend series with a Friday night game against the Rangers, with Colby Lewis on the mound for Texas.

Trout was 2-for-3 in this game, the beginning of a stellar weekend against Texas that saw him go 8-for-12 (.667) with three home runs, a double, two walks, seven RBI, and four runs scored in three games.
