Welcome back to the Mike Trout home run daily, where we relive every home run in Mike Trout’s career, one game at a time. We use a random number generator to determine each game, and today brings us back to 2015 in The Bronx.

Trout hit four home runs in six games against the Yankees that season, and the second of those came on June 7, 2015 in New York, the Sunday afternoon finale of a weekend series.

He got things started off in the first inning, hitting a liner over the left field wall against C.C. Sabathia. Scroll to 3:25 of this video to see:

Albert Pujols followed Trout with another home run to put the Angels up 2-0, but New York won this game, 6-2.

This was part of a nice little hot streak that saw Trout hit six home runs in his first 10 games of the month, and seven home runs in 12 games if we extend back into May.

Trout has two career home runs against Sabathia, and both were hit in this month. Trout also took Sabathia deep at home that year on June 29, a game we have not yet covered on this Trout home run daily.
