Bobblehead No. 2 — Albert Pujols HR No. 500

He cracks the list again

We’ve reached No. 2 on our bobblehead countdown. For the second time on the countdown, Albert Pujols cracks the list. This time, for the bobblehead commemorating his 500th career home run.

On April 22, 2014, Pujols became the 26th player to join the 500 home run club. He hit it on the road in Washington D.C. After rounding the bases, he crossed home plate and pointed his fingers towards the sky.

I’m confused as to why the Angels had this bobblehead of Pujols in the home white jersey. When he hit the homer, he was in the red alternate jersey. Nonetheless, it recaptures it perfectly. In addition, I absolutely love the jumbo gold “500” on the front of the bobblehead. It stands out, and makes it unique and unlike any other bobblehead the team has ever made.

Throughout the years, Pujols has had a number of different bobbleheads, but this one is easily the best.
