The MLB season officially begins next week now. Can you believe it. As of now, the Angels are still slated to kick off their season next Friday. All signs are pointing to the season starting on time, so baseball is upon us!
In the mean time, the Angels have been keeping us entertained with their intrasquad games. There’s still lots of news coming out of camp, so here’s a roundup of all the news from yesterday incase you missed any of it.
Happy Monday! Let’s hope for a great week.
Angels links:
- Tommy La Stella is ready to build off his 2019 All-Star season. The 30-year-old was an All Star for the first time last season, but missed more than half of the season with an injury
- Angels aren’t shying away from ‘difficult conversations’ about social injustice
- Julio Teheran still hasn’t reported to Angels camp. He’s currently awaiting the results of his COVID-19 test.
- According to manager Joe Maddon, Shohei Ohtani will take the mound today in the intrasquad game
- Mike Trout hit a home run. He still looks good.
