For the first time since 2016, the Angels kick off the season at home. They’ll open up against the Chicago White Sox. This will be the seventh time the two clubs have faced each other to begin the season, and the first time it’s happened since 1992.
After four games against the White Sox and a quick two-game series versus the Astros, the Angels will travel to Toronto for their first road series of the season.
Although they will be playing their interleague contests against N.L. West teams this season, they’ll also square off against the N.L. West in 2021. They host the Dodgers for three games in May and they’ll play at Dodger Stadium for three games in August. In addition, the Angels will play at San Francisco on May 31 and June 1, at Arizona from June 11-13 and a San Diego from September 7-8.
The final two home stands of the year will also be the longest of the season. The second to last home stand includes nine games in 11 days, against the Padres (Aug. 27-28), Yankees (Aug. 30-Sept. 1) and Rangers (Sept. 3-6). The final home stand of the year features 10 games in 10 days against Oakland (Sept. 17-19), Houston (Sept. 20-23) and Seattle (Sept. 24-26).
The Angels will end the regular season on the road against the Mariners on October 3. This will be the first time the Angels have ended the season on the road since 2015.
