Albert Pujols made history with his 200th home run as an Angel. The Trop had it’s second power outage of the year. The Angels are on their way to beat to the Rays, but the story that will overshadow them all is:
Shohei Ohtani hit for the cycle!!!
Ohtani’s cycle is the first Angels cycle since Mike Trout in 2013. He’s also the 6th player in history to do it as a DH.
History:
Wow. Shohei Ohtani completes the cycle. Eighth cycle in #Angels history. Here’s the single that completed it. Crowd at Tropicana Field loving it. Albert Pujols tips his helmet.

Ohtani accomplished the feat with a home run, double, triple, and finally a single. Ohtani has been unstoppable as of late and is hitting .357 with 4 home runs over his last 8 games.
