During the game, all Angels fans were holding their breath. After a pop up in the first inning, Mike Trout was showing limping significantly as he ran towards third base. Walking back into the dugout, it looked as if he could barely move.
He exited the game and was replaced by Juan Lagares.

Later the Angels said Trout was diagnosed with a right calf strain. Following the game, manager Joe Maddon provided an update with reporters saying they don’t yet know the severity of the injury. He said we’ll know more information tomorrow. Hopefully for Trout and the Angels it’s nothing too serious, as losing Trout would be a huge blow to the team.
