Flying Back to Anaheim

Well, let's try that again.

The Yankees used a little small ball on top of some gift walks and we lost by one run, hopefully exhausting Mariano Rivera in the process.

Lackey was nails, Shields had a bad little run, nothing too awful, and Escobar looked exhausted.

Monday night is Bartolo's chance for revenge, Santana in case of emergency and an inning plus of Frankie.

The advantages for us of playing a Game 5 are that Chicago has less time to prepare for us and will be uncertain over who we will start in the ALCS Game 1. Plus, of course, the Angels get the chance to eliminate the Yankees in front of the hometown faithful. Sure, it would have been better to not have to play the Game 5, but I can name 24 other teams that will take it.
