Copies of 2002 WS Broadcasts?

I could TRY to put them on DVD, but I haven't had any luck trying that.  I'll play with it; but have no problem sharing my tapes with people!!

I will play this weekend; I know the DVD will play on my player (of course), but the other DVD players in my house are older models and I've yet to get one to play!!
So don't anyone hold your breaths, but keep your fingers crossed.

I've got one going, so we shall see.  I've also had my nephew volunteer to help me set it up to see if we can get them done over the computer, too.

The Angels have been stupid to not tap into the core fan base for things like this--who wouldn't like nice, pristine DVD copies of 2002 playoff run.  The Red Sox did it for their fans last year, so why not?  Heck, I'd even shell out for the complete 2002 SEASON on DVD.  $1,000 bucks for that?  Hell yes!

Well, they dubbed onto a DVD; unfortunately, they won't play on any of the other DVD players!  I'm going to go to Office Depot and see if there is another kind of blank DVD that I need (but the ones I have are right according to the manual).
If there is someone out there that knows how to do something like that, I'm willing to work with them (gasp! How can I think of such a thing) to get these done.  
Way back in 2002, I had someone offer to do this (and take out all the commercials!, but I was making so many copies of the VHS tapes at the time that I lost his phone number.
Anyone out there expert at something like this?

Just spoke to a friend that works for NBC (or is than UPN) in Palm Springs, and she told me what her camera guys told her to do when transferring, so I'm going to give it another try and we'll see where we go from there!  Everyone keep their fingers crossed (again)!
