The Angels have their first Day Off of the 2005 season.
They need it. They need the rest.
OR DO THEY?
I am not disputing that the bullpen has been overworked,
But why does everyone focus on their many innings pitched and ignore Scioscia's tendency to push position players into GAMER status.
Maybe a rest for Erstad or G.A. is just as appropriate as an off day for Shields or Frankie.
Would they play fresher?
Better?
Push off on their knees and ankles any stronger?
Drive the ball a little further?
We have a deep team, Mike, use this depth to your advantage.
