Oh there is so much going on, so many stories to link to, and I am just having my morning cup of coffee at 1:30 in the afternoon.
There is rumbling that Arte will be starting a Regional Sports Network. I am not sure how that makes me feel. Can you imagine tuning into K-REX every night? Yeah, me neither.
The big news is that Kelvim Escobar had a pretty good rehab start in Modesto last night, but it looks like he is gonna need to pitch one more game in the minors. He started the 4th inning with a walk and got all crooked, so they took him out less than ten pitches shy of his intended pitch count. His turn in the rotation would land him in Anaheim on Tuesday, but it is likely he could see Triple A and then be on the mound for Team Heavenly Red on Sunday night at the Big A.
Of course, that means Kevin Gregg likely starts Tuesday's day game against the Seattle Beltre Sexsons.
In other news, Steve Finley has some sort of healing crystal he is handing out in leather baggy necklaces to teammates. Seeing as this team has rejected the rationalist approach to hitting favored by Sabremetrics, I say sure, dive in on that voodoo one hundred percent.
