Despite Vladimir Guerrero being thrown out on the basepaths, we won...

When you have Cabfare, you can go places. We have Orlando "CABFARE" Cabrera, and he took the team to the locker room victorious. His great glove on the final play of the game would not have been reached by David Eckstein. It would have been a two-out single. Frankie had already surrendered a solo homerun to start the inning. But we had Cabfare and we got out of there fast!

Garret came thru early against Cleveland's toughest Starting Pitcher, Paul Byrd held their more-fearsome-than-average lineup to Quality Start standards (as did Lackey yesterday), Shields suffocated things, the Dead Pope Josh Paul performed his first miracle (in Catholic lore, three are required for sainthood) and Adam Kennedy joined the team in more than name only.

It was a nice win, a nice night at the ballpark and I only have one rant:
WHY IN THE %@$# DID THE DJ AT THE STADIUM MESS WITH TRADITION AND NOT PLAY KOOL & THE GANG'S CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES AFTER TONIGHT'S WIN? YOU ARE MESSING WITH EXTREME MOJO BY IGNORING THE DEEPER, MORE ESTABLISHED RITUALS OF THIS FRANCHISE YOU INCONSIDERATE BOZO. ANSWER ME, YOU JADED SUBURBAN KNUCKLEHEAD.
