Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Game 76/162

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. Clearchannel Rangers of Arlington
Washburn v. Wasdin (alphabetical battle)
5:05 p.m. on the Kaycow
(the only differences being you get a Ricoh Corp defense instead of a Jackinthebox defense and a crappy Ninth Hit Online contest)

I think Orlando Cabrera is gonna need a long rest, maybe him and Steve Finley can just hit it poolside at Mandalay Bay until September.
UPDATE: Curtis Pride got DFA'd** and Robb Quinlan gets the callup - this means McPherson and Cabrera are out three or so more games and DaVanon is locked in as outfielder #3/4 - Pride will likely not clear waivers - in fact, let's make a little bet right now - what team will claim him?
My Pride Pick: N.Y. Yankees.

My Runs/Hits Pix: LAA: 8 runs, 7 hits, TEX: 7 runs, 13 hits.

I thought that if you had an acoustic guitar
it meant that you were a protest singer
I can laugh about it now but at the time it was terrible...

**DFA: Designated For Assignment - some veterans cannot be sent down to the minor leagues without passing through a process whereby other major league teams can select their contract. If no team selects his contract, look for Pride to be at Salt Lake City in a week.
