Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Game 56/162

Angels at Red Sox ... Washburn V. Miller
Time: 11:something in the A.M. shouldn't you be in church at 11 a.m. on a Sunday?
What I mean is, did anyone see the First Inning of Saturday's game?
One definite point to make: After yesterday's game I will take Tim McCarver and Joe Buck over Rex and Physioc
My Pix: LAA: 9-9, BRS 6-9

I wish she'd unlock
her voice once and talk,
'stead of acting like we never have met.

Postgame Report follows...

Let's look at the silver lining in all of this - the Red Sox had some stellar defense - especially in the outfield. We sweep this series of Boston misses the four great outfield running reaches they performed.

Scioscia was finally forced to rest Donnelly and Shields. Perhaps Lackey pitches a complete game or we blow out Alanta and do not need the BD/SS combo tomorrow.

We're 2-4 at the halfway point of this roadtrip, 7-8 since Vlad went on the DL, and in 2nd place for only the 2nd day of the season. It could be a lot worse and one day Texas will have to play a good club, Kenny Rogers will have to face a team above .500 and there are many games ahead of us in symmetrical ballparks.
